Anna Nicole Smith Autopsy

A drug overdose was the cause of death for reality TV star and Playboy playmate Anna Nicole Smith, Seminole tribal police Chief Charlie Tiger said Monday.
Tiger said there was no evidence of foul play and the overdose was accidental.

Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper said Monday that Smith was taking nine different kinds of medication in the days before her death, including a sleeping aid.

Smith, 39, was pronounced dead February 8 after being found unconscious in her hotel room at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino near Hollywood, Florida.

Since her death, controversy has swirled over the identity of the father of Smith's infant daughter, Dannielynn. Smith's companion, Howard K. Stern, and two other men have claimed paternity.

Brangelina's New Addition

Last week, Angelina Jolie adopted young Vietnamese boy. The actress travelled to the Tam Binh orphanage, on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, for the adoption.

Reports said the child is almost 3½ years old and was renamed Pax Thien Jolie.Jolie, 31, has two other adopted children — a son, Maddox, from Cambodia and a daughter, Zahara, from Ethiopia — and a biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel, with partner, Brad Pitt.

Jolie visited Vietnam in November and filed papers in March through a U.S. adoption agency. Pitt was not included in the paperwork because, under Vietnamese law, an unmarried couple cannot adopt a child, while a single person can.

Tori Spelling Gives Birth

Tori Spelling gave birth to a boy on Tuesday, her publicist said. The actress and her husband, actor Dean McDermott, welcomed 6-pound, 6-ounce Liam Aaron McDermott at a hospital in Los Angeles.
The baby is the first for Spelling and the second for McDermott, who has a son from a previous marriage.
The couple wed in May 2006 and star in the bed & breakfast reality series "Tori & Dean: Inn Love," which premieres March 20 on the Oxygen network.

Bulimic Britney

Britney Spears isn’t just a drug and alcohol addict — she’s also bulimic. News of the World reports:
"Britney Spears has confessed to doctors that she has been suffering from bulimia since she was 16. The singer tearfully told rehab staff that she “pigs out” on junk food like burgers, sweets, biscuits and ice cream then makes herself vomit to avoid putting on weight. Britney’s nine-year [eating disorder] was confirmed by a senior source at the £24,000-a-month Promises centre in Malibu, California."

Sylvester Stallone Caught with Steroids

Sylvester Stallone was caught in Australia yesterday with tons of steroids on him and in his hotel room. TMZ reports:
"Stallone was officially charged with illegally importing performance and image enhancing drugs in a Sydney courtroom. The 60-year-old action star was caught at Sydney Airport with several vials of a steroid known as HGH (human growth hormone) during a random baggage check. Customs officials claim they found a total of 48 vials of the steroid after they raided Stallone’s Sydney hotel room, limousine and private jet. Stallone will be required to enter a plea on April 24. If found guilty, he faces a maximum fine of $22,000 American."

Salma Hayek Expecting

A representative for Salma Hayek has revealed that the actress in pregnant and engaged to French businessman and billionaire, Francois-Henri Pinault. In a statement released today, Hayek's rep said:
"Businessman, Francois-Henri Pinault, and his fiancee, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce they are expecting the arrival of their first child."

Sienna Miller Likes Drugs

Sienna discussed her experience with various substances with the London Guardian, including those of the mind-altering variety.
"I still love a waterfall or the odd hallucinogenic drug. I liked mushrooms, which were legal until a year or so ago. If I had a drug of choice, it would be magic mushrooms. I took a morphine pill [while researching her role in 'Factory Girl'], just to feel what a safe way of taking heroin was like. I didn't really feel a lot. I'm incredibly hardcore. Hahaha!".
When asked why people dabble in drugs, Miller replied, "'Cos they're fun! 'Cos they're [bleep]loads of fun! No, don't write that. I always end up putting my big fat foot in it."

Elizabeth Hurley Marries in India

Elizabeth Hurley and Arun Nayar were married Friday in a private ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, 125 miles west of London. They held a blessing and party at the castle Saturday evening, with guests including Elton John, Kate Moss, Elle Macpherson and Hurley's ex, Hugh Grant.

Wedding celebrations will continue Wednesday through Saturday in the city of Jodhpur at Umaid Bhavan Palace.

Britney Spears Attempts Suicide

Britney Spears attempted to kill herself over the weekend by trying to hang herself with a bed sheet in her room at the Promises Residential Treatment Center.
The ordeal began when she frightened staff by writing the number of the beast on her head and running around the clinic screaming, "I am the anti-christ!" "The clinic people just didn't know what to do," a friend claimed."
